The American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Initial Course teaches the following:

- Relief of Choking Adult/Child/Infant
- Intro to advanced airway for healthcare providers
- Class geared towards healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform lifesaving skills in and out of a hospital setting.
- Includes 2 year certification
Practical Hands On Practice With Maniquins & AED trainer
Course Length: 3 hours with DVD presentation, practical application, written test and skills test

AHA BLS CPR/AED Course (Recognition/Renewal)
The participants who complete this training program will be certified by the American Heart Association® (AHA®) as a BLS (CPR/AED) Provider. You will learn to perform CPR and use an AED for adults, children, and infants and relieve choking in adults, children, and infants, including two-person scenarios, use of bag-mask systems for ventilation, and how to relieve foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO). American Heart Association certification eCard provided. *This class WILL satisfy requirements for all health care programs, including licenses requiring CPR AED, and healthcare education programs at all Wisconsin colleges, universities, and technical colleges.
