American Heart Association CPR Classes



Basic Life Support classes, or BLS classes, are intended for healthcare professionals who need BLS CPR certification credentialing for upcoming and current employment; for in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. This BLS course covers key changes in basic life support for adults, children, and infants. Our BLS certification classes enable healthcare professionals in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha and throughout Wisconsin to identify and respond to a variety of life threatening emergencies using AED, CPR training, and choking relief techniques.


The American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Initial Course teaches the following:

  • Critical concepts of high quality CPR

  • AHA Chain Of Survival

  • 1 Rescuer CPR/AED for Adult/Child/Infant

  • 2 Rescuer CPR/AED for Adult/Child/Infant

  • Bag Mask Ventilation techniques for Adult/Child/Infant

  • Differences between Adult/Child/Infant rescue techniques

  • Rescue Breathing Adult/Child/Infant

  • Relief of Choking Adult/Child/Infant

  • Intro to advanced airway for healthcare providers

  • Class geared towards healthcare professionals who need to know how to perform lifesaving skills in and out of a hospital setting.

  • Includes 2 year certification

  • Classes taught in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine and Kenosha

Practical Hands On Practice With Maniquins & AED trainer

Course Length: 3 hours with DVD presentation, practical application, written test and skills test

Class Size: Up to 10 Students

Course Completion Card: AHA BLS For Healthcare Providers 2 Year

AHA Heartsaver Courses


AHA Heartsaver is perfect for the lay rescuer with little or no medical training. We tailor the class to the audience. Much of the class is video based with hands on practice throughout the video portion. Students are given individualized instruction to be sure they fully understand the concepts. Perfect for adult learners and students from 7th grade and up.


Choose from Heartsaver CPR/AED, Heartsaver CPR/AED and First Aid and Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens. All AHA classes come with a course completion card good for 2 years.
